This is an example of why leaks will continue without being discovered. The leak is approximately 150’ from this manhole. The water travels between the two layers of concrete in this loading dock area. As you can see, the top 8” slab of concrete was poured on an existing parking lot and  manhole.

 

The leak is approximately 15 gpm and costs the company about $2,400 per month.
